Moscow, Idaho – It was all business at the University of Idaho this past weekend as PIVA held its first tournament of the season, The Business Time Classic. Twenty-two teams made their way to Moscow for the event, which made for an exciting two days of volleyball.
The women’s division was intense as the tournament was whittled down until only one was left standing. Congratulations to the Gonzaga Bulldogs top team who was victorious and will maintain the region’s top ranking in the new polls.
The men’s division maintained their tradition from last year, as the teams played relentlessly in hopes of earning the crown for the first tourney of the season. When the dust had settled, Gonzaga’s top team emerged as the victor from a difficult draw that sets the tone for the rest of the season.
The full tournament results are listed below. I would also like to congratulate all of the teams who played, as it made for an excellent tournament. Thanks and we will see all of you at Valentine’s Day Classic at Western Washington University on Feb. 13 & 14.
